SENsory Astronights

SENsory Astronights is an overnight event for families with members who benefit from a more relaxed museum atmosphere. Experience all the excitement of our Astronights in a more calm and free-flowing environment.

Next SENsory Astronights: Saturday 19 August

Explore the museum, free from the regular hustle and bustle, take part in some fun workshops, watch an exciting science show, and then sleep in one of our galleries!

More about SENsory Astronights

SENsory Astronights is designed for children with special educational needs or disabilities. Campers can enter the museum after it has closed to the general public to explore the galleries and take part in a selection of fun activities, including workshops and shows.

At around 23.00 it’s lights out for a night like no other—sleeping in one of the museum galleries!

The next morning we’ll provide you with breakfast, before you get the opportunity to experience some more amazing activities. These might include a showing in our IMAX cinema, or a visit to our interactive Wonderlab: The Equinor Gallery.

Throughout the event there will be quiet spaces available for those who need to take a break.

Each SENsory Astronights event is different. More details on exactly what to expect on the day will be sent out in advance of each event.
