Destination Space–schools

Find out how to get people to the International Space Station and how to keep them safe, in this action-packed session for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.

From recycled water to floating poo, this interactive show explores aspects of living and working in space. When a problem occurs, pupils will need to observe, describe, test and select materials and equipment to build a space suit.

Designed to give pupils aged 4–7 a glimpse into careers in the space industry and get them excited about human spaceflight.

"The show was excellently pitched for the children's level. It created a buzz and excitement but was also able to calm the children at key points of learning too." Teacher.
