Injecting Hope: The Race for a Covid-19 Vaccine—Groups

How do you develop a vaccine quickly and effectively to combat a global pandemic? 

Your group can explore the worldwide effort to develop vaccines at pandemic speed and see how scientists and researchers adapted to the various challenges of the massive COVID-19 programme. Recommended for KS3 upwards (ages 11+).

Through an incredible variety of artworks, interactives, and personal objects, this exhibition examines the virus itself and recognises the work by volunteers, researchers and other individuals involved in the process of discovering, developing, testing and administering the vaccine.

The exhibition showcases the intense and rapid nature of tackling the pandemic. Revealing the inspiring stories of scientists and innovators collaborating around the globe to find solutions and save lives, this exhibition reveals how they shaped the world we live in today.
